Skiathos & Skopelos

In May 2024, we travelled to Skiathos and Skopelos. We stayed at the 5-star Kassandra Bay Resort & SPA in Skiathos and took a day trip to Skopelos. The Kassandra Resort was stunning, located right on a beautiful beachfront. Perched within close distance to the town of Skiathos and airport. It offers tranquility, beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and Visilias Bay, offers 2 swimming pools, 3 restaurants, breakfast buffet and a bar. Take a boat taxi into town from the hotels beach or a quick five minute taxi away.

Skiathos town, where bars and restaurants spill onto the sidewalks, along the old harbour and main pedestrian walkway was beautiful, lots of boutique shops and ice cream parlours galore where you can literally just watch the world go by.

Catch a boat trip over to Skopelos for the day or even multi centre the two together. We took a boat over to Skopelos, where we visited the Mama Mia church and explored the old town. It was incredibly beautiful, with charming cobbled streets lined with local produce and boutique shops while restaurants lined the narrow alleyways and small squares.

Both of these islands are incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. Will we visit again? Absolutely, without a dought.
